Saint-Ouen-l’Aumône, France – [01/06/2025] – NEYOS, a startup driven by innovation in GPS tracking technology, is proud to announce that its first product, the OTRAC GPS tracker, has entered the certification phase for Skylo’s satellite NTN network. This certification is a significant milestone in the deployment of OTRAC, which will become the first hybrid cellular and satellite beacon designed to deliver reliable and extensive connectivity globally, even in isolated regions.

The Technological solution to Professional Challenges

OTRAC is a GPS tracker designed to transmit data over cellular and satellite networks. Specifically developed for tracking people or moving assets, it addresses the unpredictable challenge of connectivity interruptions in remote areas.

Data is automatically transmitted via the most reliable available network, combining the benefits of terrestrial and satellite technologies: extensive, dependable, and cost-effective connectivity.

Available in the second quarter of 2025, OTRAC will be offered to professional clients through Neyos and its distribution partners. Its deployment will leverage the geographic satellite coverage provided by Skylo, ensuring fully operational use in Europe and North America from its launch.

A Tailored Solution for Every Challenge

OTRAC embodies Neyos’s mission: ensuring the tracking and safety of people, particularly in remote areas where traditional networks fall short.

Already used for tracking adventurers, athletes, and outdoor workers, this beacon offers:

      • Real-time location tracking across forests, countryside, and mountains
      • Alerts triggered manually or automatically in response to unusual movements
      • Fleet deployment in under a minute

All this with a pay-as-you-use connectivity model.

To address specific needs, such as Assets tracking, OTRAC variants are also available. These solutions retain all the benefits of hybrid connectivity while integrating additional data to precisely monitor behaviors related to the transport of assets.

Strategic Partnerships for Global Success

The success of OTRAC is built on collaboration with strategic partners.

NEYOS manages the acquisition, processing, and optimization of the data collected by the tracker. Once the data is optimized, the MURATA module, powered by the SONY ALT1250 chipset, ensures network connectivity. If a connection is available and all conditions are met, it facilitates seamless and efficient data transmission via the most suitable network, whether cellular or satellite.

MONOGOTO and SKYLO complement this system by providing the necessary infrastructure to enable OTRAC to connect reliably to these communication networks.
